After doing a course with EZBear University, I decided to do some old bears to take with to Korea and Taiwan. They are about 6" and smaller than what I normally make. I did this so that the ebrs would take up less space in my suitcases.
These pictures I am going to play around with and will use them in my display. The actual bears still need to be photographed properly something on my to do list.
I must have all prepared by the end of the week, as then I am off to Cape Town to wait for my first grand daughter to make her appearance. She should be here by the 22nd as if not she will get a little help.
The roses in the pictures are from my garden, and being able to pick a rose in the morning makes my day.
These bears are made from some antique German mohair that I purchased while in the UK. When I first brushed them out I thought all the fur was falling out, but it was fluff and dust only. Some have antique glass eyes that must go back to round the 1920's.

These are absolutely adorable wee ones. I'm sure they'll be snatched up in a heartbeat!
Thanks all for the good comments. Working with this fabric was not easy, especially working on the faces. I have had great fun doing them as I had more liberty in "messing " them up. I have plenty of antique lace so was able to again play with dressing them up.

They are wonderful Lynette. I love the little dress. So much detail
These bears are beautiful, The mohair is looks so good with all the shading, and the glass eyes, especially the brown ones have a lot of depth to them. A nice bunch with some lovely photographs

Those are really wonderful. I love those vintage looking bears really I do!! I want some so bad, some day some day.....
They are all wonderful Lynette, and your roses look superb.
My roses are only in bud at the moment, waiting for some heat in the day to open them...
I left home with the roses in full bloom. At the moment I am in Cape Town. The little was was due on Saturday but has decided that she is perfectly happy where she is. The Dr has booked Friday as the "D" day if nothing happens before then.
On the scan all I could see was the back of her head and she has a mass of hair.
Sandy is now "waddling" around the house.
Thanks for all the comments on the bears. I think I have found a new interest in bear making , creating these smaller bears. One keeps learning all the time.
