Some of you may already know about this fantastic invention, but I just discovered it yesterday when I took my sewing machine in to be cleaned and overhauled. Since I have an older model Husqvarna Viking, I went to a Viking dealer to get it worked on. While looking around at all the new electronic wonders, I found a most interesting thing called an embellishing machine. Power needle felting!! Now all of you excellent needle felters out there don't need to worry . . . it will never create the outstanding 3D characters that you work so hard on, but it does do some lovely things. Here is a link to the Viking website that has a video showing what the machine can do. http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/11711.htm I'm thinking of asking Santa Claus to put it in my stocking this Christmas.
Now I know why I haven't taken my Viking into the dealer to be serviced in...er... 4 years! I'll come home with another machine!
Those needlefelting machines sure are cool though, aren't they?
Hi SueAnn
My sister has had one of these felting machines for a couple of years now and loves it. She uses it to embelish boiled wool jackets that she makes

Wow, is that neat, Sue Ann! I think I have seen garments done using that machine but I just didn't realize that it was done with a machine - how cool! I hope Santa brings you one - in fact I hope he has several in his sack so more of us can get them too!
This is exactly what I have been looking for!!!!!! how absolutely fantastic.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow!! Now that is totally cool!! Hey Santa, I want one, too!!
