Kellisa just received an email informing her that she did not win the big scholarship. She was very disappointed because she knew that so many of you had been voting for her daily. Although she did not win, Kellisa is grateful to know that so many of you cared enough to think of her on a regular basis for the past month. Kellisa definitely felt The Love....and that makes her a winner! Kellisa was getting votes from all over the world.
As a finalist, Kellisa did win a $2500 scholarship and that will pay for a lot of books this school year. Kellisa will apply for the scholarship again next year.

I am so sorry to hear that Kellisa did not win the scholarship. She is a winner in my eyes as she has overcome a lot of health issues in her short life and she is a very determined woman. I wish her all the luck with her course and I will be voting for her again next year.

I'm so sorry Kellisa did not get the scholarship - I hoped she would, with all of us voting and I really felt she deserved to win. I am glad that she got the $2500.00 to help pay for books and expenses - everything helps.

Posts: 3,540 I can't believe it!! Who would be more deserving?!?! Still, she did get enough to cover her book costs, and at least that's something. I'm so glad she's felt love from every corner of the world. I know I found I could sometimes vote for her twice a day 
and it was worth it to keep trying for her. She's such an inspiration for so many, it really makes my own kidney troubles pale in comparison.
