Just wanting to pick the brains of the people who use Doll eyes.  I want to start playing around with them but was wondering what kind you use, do you have a special make you like over another one?.  I am assuming that it would be the flat back ones,  I have looked in the library but couldn't find where this question had been asked before.  Also when they talk about the size in mm I am assuming that is the size of the entire eye not just the iris.

thanks for your help and big hugs

Hi Shane,  I just started using mannequin eyes and also taxidermy type bear eyes.  The company is VanDykes (I think) the are with Cabellas the outdoor outfitters,  Well anyway, they have a nice selection and many different sizes, they tell you the diameter with and without iris.  This link is for the bear eyes, but if you look around you will see novelty eyes.  The all have flat backs, and need to be glued

Hi Shane bear_flower   I buy mine from several sources....most often from Schoepfer's, Kemper Dolls, and VanDykes.  Sometimes I find great deals on eBay for high quality eyes....it's worth the time to look.  Links below to Schoepfer's and Kemper Dolls......
