I was asked by Kathy Martin, to create this great big growling bear for her shop 'Edwina's Friends' www.edwinasfriends.co.uk   

He's called 'Berrin' and at 23", he will be a significant bear in any hug!  I have used Schulte's fabulous ivory curl mohair and combined it with a beautiful green silk velvet for Berrin's paws.  He has twinkly green eyes and wears a pretty hand dyed silk ribbon.  Berrin will be making his way to join Edwina's Friends in a week or two, as soon as I have another big bear ready to travel with him!

Thanks everyone!  Lovely to hear from you all!  Berrin is such a big bear, that yesterday I took a brief break and designed a much smaller one ... he's 13", my smallest to-date!  Am just finishing a little sweater for him to wear before I return to Kathy's other big 'un!

Paula,
     Berrin is STUNNING!  I have a real soft spot for cream bears, and the soft green paw pads and lovely bow, are just the right compliments.  I'm sure Kathy will be delighted.
