Hi, I'm not sure if this has already been covered, so my apologies if it has. I have just been to take a look at the entry forms for the GT's and can't find anything to print off. Am I right in assuming all entries now have to be made online?
Thanks!
Hi Paula, I asked this question a few weeks ago but got no response. I took another look at it and Yes I think all the pictures are through email! Someone correct me if I'm wrong......:)
Yes that is correct Paula
Thanks Peta! Guess who just had all her pics printed?!!!

Me too! I was thinking I'm ahead of the schedule this year instead of last minute like so many other years!
Glad it's not just me Tami!
So much for being organised huh?
Thats ok.
You can keep the prints as a momento of your win
I like sending it in via email. Just so much easier for me in Oz land.
Just a question about these awards, am I reading the entry information correctly, this must be a bear that is available for sale at this time, not one that has been previously sold? Could some one clarify this for me

Hi Joanne,
The bear doesn't have to be available for sale. As long as it was made after March 1, 2008, it is eligible. Also, the deadline for entries has been extended to Feb. 1, 2009, so if you have entered yet, you still have time!

Hi Sarah, I have a question for you ...
I would like to know why the bears have to be made after March 1st ... I found it frustrating this year because I couldn't include the work I had done in January or February and as we have a major UK show at the end of February, those bears were just out of reach ... would it be possible for Jan & Feb bears to be included in future competitions?

Another Question regarding the March 1,2008 date....in the Official Rules the wording is any bear "introduced after March 1" Two of my best bears this year were made in late February, but not introduced or made available for sale until March and June respectively. I thought, given the wording in the rules, that they qualified, but reading your post which says "made after" I am not so sure...
Also, I second Paula's question, why eliminate the first two months' work from the running?

Sorry, I should have stuck with the wording in the rules. "Introduced after March 1" is more accurate than "made after," so if you made a bear before March 1 but it was introduced after March 1, it's still eligible.
In regard to the question about eliminating January's and February's work, quite honestly I don't know the answer to that. My guess is that it was done that way many years ago for some reason and it was never changed to reflect the contest process in recent years. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. It's something we should definitely change for next year.
Whew! Thanks, Sarah. I had already sent the entry in!
