What a challenge! Introducing Shi Jiang the Panda who was a custom order. One of my collectors brought me the porcelain box Shi Jiang is standing next to and asked me to create a panda to go in the box. Shi Jiang is 2" tall and created using vintage upholstery velvet in black and white with red ultrasuede paw pads.
His new mom picked him up today and she was thrilled.

Kathy actually this fabric has the nice grid backing so I didn't have any problem with fraying.
