I'm so pleased with myself -I managed to make 2 Ibooks for Christmas from our Disney trip that we took in the spring. One is for us and one is for our daughter and grandson. I should have them in the next week. My sister gave me one that she put together as a gift last Christmas, and I just love it. The reason I'm so happy, is that I managed to do them on my hubby's Macbook laptop and I've never used a Mac before. Boy was that a learning curve LOL! The picture storage is soooooo different. At one point I was ready to give up, but I must have clicked something by accident, because it finally worked out. My sister (who has always had a Mac) was surprised I managed to do it, because of the differences, so this computer dummy is patting herself on the back!

Good on you Brenda that is wonderful.
Mac are great once you get the hang of them - I would not use anything else.
I love mine.

Carolyn,
How long did it take you to get used to yours and really understand how to use it? Eventually, when my Dell PC dies, I think I'd like to replace it with a Mac.

Brenda
Hi Brenda,
I got my first Mac computer about 10 years ago ( one of those blue see through ones) and setting up was so user friendly.
Told you step by step, how to go about setting it all up. It did not really take long to get the hang of it and figure out how to use it.
I have since got a new G5 which I just love and I don't think I would like to go back to a PC.
Hugs
Carolyn
