Well here we are, on the very last day of 2008!  Where did the year go?  I pondered that question and put my thoughts in blue and grey (as opposed to black and white ... one of the pleasures of blogging!)  Have you reviewed 2008 from a bear related perspective?  If so, please let us know your thoughts, or leave a link to your blog/website review below so we can all share your perspective ...

This is mine:

Looking forward to reading yours!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Loved reading your perspective, Paula!!  bear_flower  bear_flower

Hmmmm.  My bear related perspective....as it pertains to my work.  Well, I know I've become too fragmented in styles and sizes this year.  Though my collector friends seemed to accept these new bears, I've found I really miss my traditional style.  I designed mainly for price point this past year with the economy in mind.  I'll be bringing back a few larger, more traditional bears in the next few weeks to test the waters.  Perhaps I'm just over-processing.   bear_whistle Ya think?!   bear_grin ha!

Warmest bear hugs,

Thank you Tami!  That's such a lovely compliment!

Aleta, I don't think you're over processing at all and I completely understand where you are coming from in terms of wanting to reinstate the larger, more traditional bears ... I'm delighted to hear that!  To coin a phrase, you're a girl after my own heart!

That was nice reading Paula and it makes you think, I will be spending a couple of days from tomorrow working out where I spent time last year that was wasted and what I hope to achieve next year with the bears and form some sort of plan. I want to be more aware of time this year - I didn't get my Christmas bears done until a day or two before Christmas this year and that is bad planning.  I totally missed out on times like Valentine day and missed Halloween for bears except for one commission (which was quite late too).  So I will have a few targets set out this year without getting myself stressed out though.

I do love your new avatar and the bear is just gorgeous.

Thanks Pauline!  I'm very happy if what I wrote has given you the impetus to review your planning ... here's to a well organised, pre-planned 2009! bear_grin
