Hi, well it went well today, he pulled it and I didnt feel a thing. I'm taking a pain pill and heading off to bed....
Tami,
I'm so sorry to hear about your tooth. It's okay to be scared I know exactly how you feel.

Hugs,
I had a tooth crack after a root canal. I had the tooth pulled. I had gas, and after it hurt, it was a molar, but with the gas, no sweat. You will be fine, I am a huge baby at the dentist, and it really was fine.

Tami because of my balance problem I can fall over quite easily. I fell and broke one tooth in half, then two days later before I could even get treatment for the first tooth I fell again and broke another tooth and knocked out the one next to it. As you can imagine I was a right mess, both left and right sides of my mouth damaged. I have now had the first damaged tooth crowned and then two weeks later the second tooth crowned with a bridge attached to fill the gap from where I knocked out the tooth. The pain was nothing to moan about at all and that was with having two deep root canal fillings done to the broken teeth. Having a tooth removed is quick and reading that you had already had two root canals done already, well lets just say I found tooth extraction a breeze in comparison. I just sit back relax and think of something really nice, it works for me. Good luck Tami and don't worry, it will be over so quickly.
Big hugs, Jane.
I just had an infected tooth removed last week. Ouch, Yuck! ...But it felt better a few hours later.
I hope the tooth comes out easy for you.
Ladies oh how can I feel with you - I would have to go to the dentist to finish all his work he started in my mouth - but I'm to scary to have another round
Tami I will cross my fingers for you - here in Austria we have a proverb for somebody who has to go through something very tough - we say: "grit your teeth" - but I don't think that it will help in this case - so just keep thinking at our wonderful bears and time will pass - good luck
Well, I relate so much to your fear! I have a dental procedure phobia myself and send you my best vibes and wishes for a painless visit.
Hi, I had a tooth pulled last winter after having 2 root canals as well. The first one was done 20 years ago because of an inept dentist we had as a kid. When we moved and found another dentist he sent me to an endodontist who said he could finish the incomplete first root canal. Geesh! So about a year after having this done the tooth broke right down the side. Out it had to come. I did lots of praying during the procedure but all in all it really went quite well. Good luck! Will be thinking of you.

Hi, sounds just like my story ...when they did the last root canal .........it was hurting really bad even with all the shots he gave me to numb it.........I think that is when the tooth cracked! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr hubbys insurance paid for all of that but it is going to cost me $1,800 out of my pocket for the flipper and the bridge!
Ugh. I hope all went well for you (you should read this afterward) and that you feel well very quickly.
I have been looking into having an implant. My step-mother-in-law (now there's a mouthful) is having one done soon and if it goes well with hers I may do this. I hate having the empty spot right now but I didn't want my two perfectly good teeth capped to hold in the bridge.
I'm not crazy about going to the dentist for major procedures either. I hope you heal up lickety split!
Warmest bear hugs,
Aleta
I am soo pleased it all went well for you Tami, as I said earlierI found tooth extraction a breeze. You rest up and take pain killers when needed and you'll forget all about it in a day or too.
Healing hugs, Jane.
