Isn't that the phrase to use when you're trying to find someone?  I have a lovely collector trying to find out whatever happened to two particular artists that used to list on eBay quite frequently but now are MIA.  Does anyone know what has happened to JoAnne Harnden, Hucklebeary Patch, or Jody (her last name escapes me at this moment) but she used to make the sweet little mice with the stories.  She was a member on TT for awhile, was trying to organize a Breast Cancer auction, and then disappeared.  If anyone knows about either of these women would you mind sending me a PM or an e-mail?  I'd like to pass along the information to my collector friend.

Thank you for your time!!

Warmest bear hugs,

I want to say that JoAnne Harnden has gone into local politics!  I recall her talking about that at some point, and then when I did a search to find her, myself, a while back, I saw her name mentioned in political arenas in her area (Indiana, maybe... ?)  I have one of her darling mini bears, collected during my earliest days of bearmaking, and she and I were friendly; I even made her an "Army mom" graphic a while back so she could shout with pride that her son was of service.

Nice lady.

Good luck finding her and if you manage to get an addy or site URL for her, would you mind sharing it please?  Even if you feel you need to via PM, I'd love to say hi. bear_original

Hi,
You could try getting ahold of JoAnne through ebay.  If you look up hucklebearypatch you can send an email through the contact member option.  It looks like she has not done anything on ebay since July of 07.
Good Luck,
Donna

Hi Shelli and Donna!   bear_flower  bear_flower
Thank you for your posts.  I googled JoAnne but there didn't seem to be anything current out there.  It's as if she just disappeared in July/August of 2007.  I know her mom, Ellen Barnett, has been listing on eBay again recently.  Even she seemed to disappear there for awhile.  I know JoAnne has a son in the Marines.  I hope everything is okay.  Idaho.  JoAnne was living in Idaho when we kept in touch.  I too, have a few of her bears.  Cute as the dickens, they are!!

Oh, wait!  Just typing here and remembering back......I know someone that may know something.  I also have another lead that a lovely gal contacted me with so I'll try that too.

Thank you again for your posts!   bear_original  bear_original

Warmest bear hugs, Aleta

Idaho, that sounds right.  I knew it was something that began with "I."  You win.

I'm pretty sure I'm right about the Army (vs. Marines) thing, though; I still have the graphic on my hard drive.  So, we're tied.

Glad to know that between the two of us, we can make up an almost intact memory bank.  lol...

Do let me know if you find her.  I've been wanting to say hello and have several times done just what you're doing now, except the asking TTers part.
