Please meet Kouro, he is a commissioned piece from my Best Friends range. He was inspired from a photo of an Alaskan Malamute owned by Kerri-anne. Thanks for taking the time to look :thumbsup:
I'm thrilled to say that Kouro has won his category in the Sydney Teddy Bear Fair - People's Choice Awards 2009 :dance:

Now I'm exstatic that he is an Industry Choice Nomination for the Australian Bear Creations Awards 2009 as well :dance:  :dance:

Thanks Birgitta, Melisa and Deb , he holds a special place in his owners heart too, he is 11 years old at the moment, but she gave me all his younger photos to work from, that's probably how she want s to remember him, and who wouldn't, we all love our furry friends sooo much

Thank you Ann-Marie, just had some not so good news about the real Kouro , the poor darling is having a real battle getting around these days, at 77 years old, the arthritis has really caught up with him

I remember speaking to you Kim at a show in Perth and you spoke of the Malamute and I remember feeling very excited to see the end result...(as I thought nothing could top Tyson the Mastiff)............... 
You never fail to blow me away with what you do..........  He is amazing (I feel like I don't have the words to explain)
Well done Kim,   I love the anticipation leading up to your creations and then finally getting to see to makes me quite speechless!!!
