I keep a number of bears on my bed (surprise, surprise).  The other day I went in there and they were all laying face down on a pillow with their arms round each other.  I asked my big tough truckie husband what they were doing and he said they were in mourning for all the bears that got burnt in the bushfires.  I almost cried!

But it breaks my heart to think of all the Koalas that couldn't move fast enough to get away from the flames. And all the people that were lost as well. I had a cousin burn to death in a car right before my eyes and I couldn't get her out. The horror of it all haunts me!! When ever I hear of fires like this I start having the dreams again. I pray for everyone touched by this whether they have 2 legs or 4!!
