Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I'm Kerry, Founder & Executive Director of SAVE THE FROGS!, a nonprofit organization dedicated to amphibian conservation. While this contest was already announced by one of your members, I thought I'd provide you with the official announcement, and welcome your input as to whether I should open the contest to stuffed animal frogs, as we will one day need cute stuffed animal frogs to offer as gifts in exchange for becoming a member.    Kerry

Amphibian populations worldwide are in the midst of a mass extinction, yet most people are still completely unaware! We need your help in getting the word out.

This contest will raise awareness of the amphibian extinction problem by getting people involved and interested. The best frog art will be used on t-shirts and posters, and to illustrate a book of frog poetry that will be sold to raise money for amphibian conservation efforts. This book will feature poetry from our concurrent 1st Annual Frog Poetry Contest http://savethefrogs.com/poetry

Hi Kerry,

Welcome to Teddy Talk!   

It would be fabulous if there were a stuffed frog/amphibian section as I'd be first in line with my Natterjack toad.    They are an endangered species.   

I hope your contest is a huge success and makes everybody aware of the current plight of the amphibians.
