DoodlebearsHi everyone, well it took me quite a while to get the pictures ready for you, but they are ready ALL BUT PICTURES OF MY OWN STAND, BECAUSE THIS STUPID WOMAN FORGOT TO TAKE THEM.
Sunday was a fantastic day the huge amount of people outside in the queue awaiting for the show to open seemed even more than usual. They were all waiting to get inside to find their new treasures and they we not disappointed. There was some fantastic bears to be bought, as you will see by the photographs. I was busily wizzing around before the start of the show snapping as many pictures as I could. Eleven o'clock arrived too soon for me to have gotten all the pictures that I wanted, but I tried again once the show was under way, leaving my daughter, Sarah, with my own stand. The atmosphere was buzzing from the start and I saw many happy faces and people hugging their new bears. One lovely old gentleman came up the stairway opposite my stand, he put both of his hands forward and came over to the table and picked up one of my small bears. Holding him carefully he said 'Hello' to the bear. He then spotted a smaller bear that matched the first one. Carefully without really looking he placed the first bear down on the table and once again with his hands forwards he lifted the second bear and said 'Hello little bear' He reached into his pocket, handed me the exact money and bought the bear. He didn't want a bag, receipt or anything that usually goes with the bear. He just turned around, still carefully holding the bear around it's middle and walked back down the stairs saying hello little bear. It was the sweetest moment for me ever selling a bear. He didn't go to any other stand in hall four, he just walked up, bought the bear and left. This old guy really touched my heart on Sunday, I would love to know if he bought the bear for himself or a loved one, but that I will never know.

Thanks Jane for taking all those pics to share!! Even though I was at the show, there wasn't time to see everything, so it is great to have chance to see all these pictures!!

TeenytinyteddybearsOh thank you Jane. It was wonderful seeing all the bears. Perhaps someone has one of your stand? Otherwise you will just have to post photos of some of your bears. I have been so looking forward to seeing these. Now going to start again from the top and drool over each one.

Thank you so much for posting these gorgeous pictures, but I feel so sorry for you that you didn't get a picture of your own stand! Aww. Maybe someone else has taken one you can see? I hope so! It was so nice to have a little chat with you, your bears looked as lovely as ever.
I think I may have spotted the lovely little man you were talking about just as I was about to leave around 3.15. He was just coming down the stairs from your area holding a bear and looking absolutely thrilled, just like a little boy with a new toy. It was such a lovely story and your bear obviously meant such a lot to him. Doesn't that make bear making so worthwhile?? Gives you a warm fuzzy glow!!!
