Hi all you teddy bear lovers and artists out there,
I wanted to share with you the teddy that I recently adopted from Jane Lynne Martin (Doodlebears). He has such a sweet kind face; everytime I look at him or pick him up for a cuddle he brings a smile to my face. I think it's something we all could use, when you can't turn on the TV or open a newspaper without being bombarded with doom and gloom.
Thank heavens for teddies and thank you Jane for creating this lovely teddy
The other bears you see in the next picture are called Monty & Moet (on the left), by Kay Holroyd (KatieCountryBears) and Valentino (on the right), by Australian artist Raewyn Todd (Woodbury Park Bears).

George sure looks happy in his new home. I think I recognize some of the other faces he is sharing his new pad with. What a wonderful collection of bears

I love your pictures and you are so right about the doom and gloom thing. I have just delivered a bear to my mum for mothers day and he bought such a smile and tears to her eyes, everyone should have that once in awhile.

oooh you are so lucky, what gorgeous bears you are surrounded with. Yes they are wonderful to have around us when things feel glum.
Hugs
Pauline
These words are true - of course a teddy-bear brings smile in your heart, when I started making my bears and had finished my first bear with my own pattern some words went came in my mind. I wrote them down and used them as the beginning of my website:
Look into a
teddy-bears face - you will feel happy and comfortable -
and you won't be alone!
A Teddy-bear
will be your friend
for ever!
This means to me having a bear - and looking around in my home - there are bears all over and I'm happy about it.
So please continue sharing your home with those lovely companions of our life - with bears bears bear .......
George looks mighty spiffy in his necktie!
He and his new Bear friends seem to be having fun.
Be sure to take George out for some Belgian frites and a waffle!
He's probably hungry after traveling all that way.
George is a super great bear and looks happy to be in such compatible company.
Hi Peter,
George looks so happy to be living with you in Belgium and looks right at home.
We avoid watching the news as there is so much going on all around that it is just awful and find it is
better to watch a comedy film or read a good book.
Hugs
Carolyn
Hi Peter, I am so pleased that George has come to live with you. Thank you for posting pictures here on Teddy Talk, you have some awsome bears there for you to hug and what's better than hugging a bear...no grumbles...no requests...just love and comfort.
Hugs, Jane.
