 I remember seeing this during my move across country. We had my 22 year old cat in the car with us and she loved Yellowstone Park. SHe was almost nose to nose through the glass with Elk and Buffalo. I suspect there were, also, Elk and Buffalo watching this eruption of Old Faithful

Yeah, Karen, I was wondering where the other audience members were . . . surely the little chipmunk? isn't the only one. Or maybe all the wildlife has gotten too used to seeing Old Faithful blow. Your cat is 22? Wow, I've got an 18 1/2 year old that is still puttering around, but I'm not sure she'll last another 4 years. How wonderful.
Sue Ann,
Don't count her out My cat is just about to turn 23 in April, she's thinner but has no major health problems and has a hearty appetite. I found her at a dairy farm in Connecticut. The farmer had put her in a rabbit cage at only 5 weeks old because he was afraid the cows might step on her and my Vet let me know that she needed a home. I never thought she'd be this sturdy! SHe's a longhair white cat with blue eyes and looks delicate but I guess the good old farm cat genes kicked in
I have a friend whose cat lived to 26. Cats can live for a LONG time! BUt I think it has something to do with very good mixed genes, generations of hard survival brings out the best
