Custom Persian in a Lion Cut / Showcase / Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Hi everyone, just wanted to show you the sweet persian I just finished for a wonderful collector! Her gorgeous persian gets trimmed in a lion cut frequently, and wanted a custom of her in the lion cut. I had so much fun creating her, and it was a blast to do her trim!! I just love the cattitude this kitty has, and her new mom loves her to bits too!

She has been designed to be floppy, and cuddly, with mostly pellets and steel shot for filling

Krista, my cat would MURDER if he was cut like that bear_tongue The similarity between the real cat and your version is amazing. Did you use two lengths of mohair, or just trim it like a groomer would?

Thanks everyone!!! My cats would kill me too! I just loved the ticked off look she has!

Chloe I used a longer fur for her head, but her body is all one length and then trimmed like a groomer.

Great expression! Persians are so hard to depict because of the flat face. Yes, the few times I had to trim my long haired cat even in a small patch she seemed very embarassed by it!
