Su Ann, I usually don't ask this type of thing, I've been holding off, trying to be a good girl. Alas, I give in . I have to.  Can I borrow (Uh steal) the name Beezley from you. I really like daggy names, and I'm sorry, it's a little daggy!  Please? Pretty Please? With cherries on top (and a bit of chocolate if you're lucky?)

Make that a couple of pounds of DARK chocolate and it's a deal!!  bear_grin  Of course you can use the name Beezley!  I certainly don't have a copyright on it so, as far as I'm concerned, it's up for grabs.  I just changed the spelling of Beasley.  Thought for an anime bear, the name should be a little wonky (I LOVE that word - thanks for bringing it up, Penny)!  bear_grin

Hello,

Like to put my 5 cents in it, I bought one of the Japan Pattern Books, but, even as experienced Bear Maker I had some problems with the Pattern pieces since I cant read any Japanese.
So I designed my own Version
Here it is:

Thanks Laure,

I always adored your Bears, especially the Golly ones.
I am not a Bear Collector, but yours I would love to have, if I could afford one.

Sue Anne- Are Sugar and Beezley center seamed? And may I ask about their noses... Are they thread that's been waxed? They are so shiny and look like jelly beans, I wanna eat them up! bear_original

Kirsten . . . Beezley is center-seamed, but Sugar isn't.  You are right . . . the noses are embroidered the usual way, then coated with melted beeswax.  As many layers as you want until it looks good to you.  Then you rub them with a piece of plain white paper and voila!!  There's your jellybean!!  bear_laugh bear_laugh
