I'm preparing for my Moscow show November, 14 Teddymania. I'm planning to make three bears (it's a limit of the show just 3 bears) (just 1 is ready). I'm sewing, sewing, and kinda need a break but have sooo little time left. Just one week to finish second bear and sew third one.  :wacko:
I go to sleep at 3 a.m. for 6 days already and feel my mind getting to live separatelly.

Do you guys, have any secret to relax? Or just have a good nap?

For me...chocolate  works !!!  he he
but if I have only 1week to make 2bears, I think I do 100% work(sleep 5hours only) on MON,WED,FRI then I do 70% work(sleep 8hours)on TUE,THU...... THEN don't sleep much on last day.... then I should have more than
30hours for bear making. 
This is what I did on last show and I was soooo
exhausted.......I know it's not healthy for your body !!!!  but some people are ok with
sleeping less.... I wish I was one of them.  :bday:

Julia, are you flying to Moscow !? Isn't freezing out there

Marie, we had SNOW already last week. It's early even for my place. Everybody was surprised, esspecually drivers...who didn't change tires for winter ones... :o
Today +7C outside pretty cold. I would say freezing for me.  :whistle:
Should've born in Africa....

Carolyn, this is my first show cause this show is only 2d one. The first Teddymania was last year. And I haven't visit any abroad shows yet. Toooo much expensive to get there.

Hi Julia, good luck with your show. Please make sure you have enough sleep and feel well. Yes, please do share some pictures of your bears and some from the show also if you are allowed to take some. Why are you only allowed three bears, I have never heard of this kind of rule before?

All the best. I only had three hours sleep last week when I came back off holiday. I could not think straight, so you look after yourself as I am sure the weather won't help. No wonder there were lots of Russians in Turkey last week as the weather was so nice there. Good luck with your show.

Oh, guys thanks. I really enjoy this preparing stuff. And since I'm a night owl myself it's not a problem to stay up long at night. The problem is I hate being rushed!!! I love to make everything slow and enjoy every step of bear.. So I've finished one completely yesterday night. What a relief...at least one bear is ready.

There are about 300 bears already on this show acording to the aplications. They also have nominations. 1st, 2d, 3d. best of show, etc.

I'll definatelly post my bears after show. Promise. :thumbsup:

Just sent bears to Moscow.  :love:

I'll miss them. Here's the pict ...no, no, not bears yet just boxes I made.

I made boxes and then wrap in fabric. Very rich gold color.

Yes, actually... if I get really tired (happens about 1 week out of the month) then YES, I DO take a nap.. even if it's 2'oclock in the afternoon (like yesterday )  I used to resist doing it... cause I felt I was "wasting time"... but I'm so much better after just 30 minutes... now if I'm tired... I nap!

Girls, thanks so much!! I can't wait to know how my bears doing so I'll let you know as soon as I find out myself.
I make this kind of boxes for each bear. Marie, shipping boxes are simplier and cheaper. 

By the way, my new avatar is on his way to Moscow too!! It's anime bear. Judi, said she looks like a lion, my friend said it's a dog.... :P
