This is Calypso, a bear made to a collector's specification.  To achieve the colours required, I had to hand dye the mohair, so I purchased some earth palette dyes, turned my hands bright pink (forgot to buy Marigolds!) and this is the result - a very vibrant bear.  I'm really pleased with how he turned out!

Hand dying is another thing I would like to try but have avoided it so far but there will be a time in bearmaking where I have to try it to get the colours  that I want bear_rolleyes
