bear_flower Thank you so much Denise! :hug: The antler can be difficult... it is very hard, yet has some weak areas. So I sometimes have to redo a piece if I haven't noticed that there is a weak spot before starting to carve. I do love the end result though as it is much like ivory - but is a "renewable resource" as the moose shed them every year. Probably the hardest part is finding them! bear_grin Good thing we do a lot of hiking!
