Okay, I've thought of a little project that you may participate in, if interested, or you can just look at the photos, laugh, and poke fun at the fashion of the day. I'll start it off by revealing my ridiculous hairdo that was "in" circa 1971. Since I've been around almost 7 decades, I'm sure there are young TT members who won't have seen such awful hairstyles. Those sweet little girls are 41 and 42 now. Who wants to show off an oldie, but goodie next?
I don't know how to put a picture on!! Or I would show you a picture of me (1975) in my wedding dress! Boy was it awful!! I thought it was such a cute gown!! I look back and wonder were my fashion sense was!!!
I love going through old photographs, I'll see what I can dig up!

Such fun. I am 43 so about the only bad thing I went though was the '80's. And my photos are in storage in South Africa. So you cant laugh at my big hair and shoulder pads. Pity, I know there are some lulu's in there
Ohh!
Mini skirts! My husband said he fell in love with me when he saw me walking to class in a mini skirt Oh yes, he had high standards for a relationship - not

I had no idea you were nearly 70 SueAnn! Would never have believed it from the pic under your avatar, maybe 50. Not sure if I have any thing to contribute to this, I'll have a dig. Might have to go visit one of my sisters, I know they have copies of some old photos.
Well, I jump in and post a photo. This was my 6th grade photo, 1964 I believe. I thought my hairdo was "it". My bangs were short because my mom trimmed them til she got them straight.
Sue Ann you can sure tell it's you!! That smile is a dead give away!
and Nancy you too. I guess we don't really change that much.
Is this any photo, any age...or specifically one we hate?
Sue Ann, you look just the same, except for the hair.
Nancy, I graduated from h.s. in 1964...and had big hair and I hate the picture, but I guess at the time it was "in." I'll see what I can find.
Marlys is another that doesn't look her age!!
I guess bear making keeps you young looking!!
I better start making bears!

Any photo will do. Especially if you have one from your earlier days that you DO like! Thanks, you guys, for the 'age' compliments . . . I was 68 last month - ugh.
Boy, Nancy, you look the same except a bit more mature now. This is fun!
Having been a hairdresser most of my life and then becoming a makeup and hair artist for film as well as the head of the hair department for an international makeup/ film school... THANK YOU for sharing your WONDERFUL hair do. I love period hair and you are BEAUTIFUL! Now I am a bear artist and love the vintage style bears also... what can I say. I will try to find a great family shot or at least just one of me and will post soon! I truly love that you have started this little fun thread!
PS. Nancy D ~ Love your sweet smile and sweet bow! Top knot with a bow... adorable!
It would be neat if we could post anonymously baby pictures and try to guess who they are.
Wow Sue anne. I never would have put you close to your age Nancy, I think you had a mother like mine....
This is fun. Gosh I dont even have a current photo up, let alone an old one
Here is a picture of me in 1978. Time does sneak up on you...
Here is what I look like now:
Terrific photos, Michelle!
The last ABC Schaumburg bear show I attended, we played that exact game, Cyndee! All the artists had sent in baby and current photos prior to the show, and then we all had to match the pics. I was totally surprised to have been the one with the most correct matches. Yea!
Karen, remember the hot pants, too?
Perhaps you ladies would like a good laugh with a boy pretending to be a bit macho ?
Yes that's me on the left; it must have been around '75 at my uncle's wedding. The guy with the glasses is my older brother. The lovely lady is my aunt (now aged 78). And what happened to all that hair ???
Marilyn,
if your reading this, I hope you have a good laugh; that will teach me being a rascal !
Hugs,
Peter
Hi Peter,
Yes, I'm having a little chuckle here (she said, picking herself up off the floor!!!). I think we're even now!!!!
Actually, I love the photo, you look cute in it - and back in those days, your photo would have been a pin-up!
Love the flares!
Actually, I have spent the whole of today listening to terrific music from the 60's and 70's with the bass and volume up SO high!!!
Been a wonderful day re-discovering groups I had almost forgotten! (those were the days!)
Right, off to find some photos - you were warned!!!!
Hugs
Marilyn
Hi Sue Ann,
Thank you for this wonderful thread! Brilliant. I love your photo of you and your family and I must say you look as brilliant
now as you did then!
Michelle, you haven't changed either!!!
I may be a brave bunny and find a picture that will give you all a fright!
Hugs,
Marilyn
Couldn't find the mini skirt photo. I doubt many would recognize me from this photo
Kid in California in the 60's before we worried about sun. I actually have very fair skin but back then I lived outdoors and at the beach. IT was the headband era
Peter - GREAT picture!! Looks like you could've been posing for a '70s fashion catalog photo.
Karen . . . cuuuuute! I spent my summers at the swimming pool, so I got quite tan back in the days, also. Paid for it, too, with a malignant melanoma in the '80s.
I had method in my madness of putting up a photo under my avatar with half my face and head covered. You don't get to see all the ravages of 68 years.
Wonderful post SueAnn
Love your hairdo and you all look so neat, your husband's specs are back in fashion again.
Lovely to see your photos too Michelle, Peter and Karen. Nancy just saw your photo now, funny about the bangs! hehe
What fun - will have to dig out my old photo albums.
Hugs
Carolyn
I can believe that Sue Ann. You have a smile that has not changed!
How fun that must have been to see all those baby pictures!
Such fun seeing the old pictures. I think your idea was a great one Sue Ann...here's my contribution to the hall of fame.
I was about sixteen here, I was in London with my mum, a minute or so after the photo was taken a pigeon pooped on my head
Sue Ann you look wonderful.
Nancy what a cute little girl you were.
Michelle I didn't recognise you, you have changed quite a bit.
Peter what a great picture, Sarah says she would like trousers like that.
Karen, you're right I did not recognise you at all, boy you have really changed.
Hugs, Jane.
I just love all the nostalgia and the great photos! Peter, Nancy, Sue Ann, Karen and Jane I love your pictures! What fun to see what you looked like years ago and the different clothes and hair styles….
