Hello all,
I am so excited. Today, Rupert, a gorgeous light-gold Schulte teddy bear made it all the way from Australia to find his new home in his new hug here in England. I am pleased to say he's setting in nicely. :) :)
I haven't taken any photos of him in his new home yet (and certainly won't be anything as grand as Peter's endeavours :)) but here he is from Ann-Marie's website (Goldelocs Bears):
He was really well packaged, and a lot of thought had gone into that. He was wrapped in bubble-wrap and placed around some lovely coloured tissue paper and placed in a lovely gold shoe-box. Then foam was placed on top of him and put in a postage box. I opened him with absolute glee at work, and he sat on my desk. Not that I got much work done, I was too busy beaming at him. :)
Ann-Marie, thank you so much for Rupert, he's lovely. :)

What a smart boy he is - lucky you!
There is nothing quite like receiving a parcel and opening it layer by layer to discover such a wonderful face looking up at you. I received a little Hoblin bear yesterday and I felt like a child at Christmas when I slowly unwrapped the tissue paper and saw his little face, love at first sight!

Very nice! I really like that long gold mohair.

Hi Thomas,
I'm so glad Rupert has arrived
I would love to see a pic of him with his new teddy friends when you have time.
I bet he had fun at your work, I don't think I'd get too much work done either
Ann-Marie
He's a gorgeous bear, you are lucky
