Just wanting to be sure I am assembling these international addresses correctly, before I send out the Christmas Card swap list later this weekend.

Could you international gals -- I just need one person's help, from each country -- please let me know the "proper" format for addresses, particular to your specific country of origin.

For example, in the US, we write an address like this:

NAME
STRESS ADDRESS
CITY, STATE   ZIP CODE
COUNTRY

I need assistance with UK, JAPAN, CANADA, and AUSTRALIA.  See, what happened was... when I asked you to send your info in a particular format, some of you followed my directions so completely, that I think the address format is actually "wrong" for your own country!  I appreciate your cooperation, all the same.

For Canada:

NAME
STREET ADDRESS
CITY, PROVINCE
POSTAL CODE
COUNTRY

p.S. I don't think we call it a "STRESS Address here, but believe me there are days I could !  Sorry, Shelli I laughed when I read that !!!!

Shelli,I just emailed you my address in the proper format for Canada just like Tammy's post so your all set for us Canadian gals.  oh and mine's only a stress address in the winter when I have to get down of this hill on a dirt road that looks like an icy down hill rink

Australia is the same as Canadas, except it goes

Name

Suburb, State (like NSW, VIC, QLD etc), Postcode

HAHAHA!  I didn't remotely realize I had made that typo.  Consider it a Freudian slip.  My inner life is showing!

Japan is same as USA if you are writing in English.  :whistle:
