For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
I went back and checked my old patterns that I created for toy companies just to refresh my memory. Here's what manufacturers required. Might be good to know if you ever decide to design for production. Also, some of it is useful when you go back to look at a pattern you created 10 or 15 years ago
Notations:
1) Name of character is underlined
2)Under that goes a brief piece description
3)Number of pieces to cut is circled
4)Always list the seam allowance (mine were usually 1/8", you might need a wider allowance for mohair?)
5)Arrow shows direction of fur
6)The arrowheads were a real PAIN but they needed them for manufacture, I use just a mark for my patterns
