Helloooo!!! I have missed you guys! and missed being able to create full time! The house selling is going good, but it has been a crazy process. I spent three weeks with multiple showings daily, and for those of you with animals you know how much of a pain this can be. I have spent the last three weeks cleaning like crazy and hauling three dogs around trying to entertain them in horrible heat while people venture through our house! The wait is almost over though, fingers crossed...on the 2nd of July we accepted a conditional offer on our house and the conditions come off tomorrow. Their house has just listed as sold so we are one step closer. I will be so happy to see the sold sign go up so that we can continue moving forward and I can get back to work!!! I have managed to putter in the evenings a little bit, but for the most part have been so exhausted come 6pm I am out like a light on the couch.

In amongst it all I was able to finish a Chihuahua puppy, took a lot longer than usual, but he is finally up on eBay. I will post him in the for sale section.

I know Eva! Here in Canada though it is a huge buyers market, so houses that are priced below their value are selling quick. We listed about $20,000 less than what we could have listed for, but since the move is to get to a house with less stairs because of my husbands knee problems we had to take the hit and try to sell quick.

:clap: Wow, lucky you. I hope all goes well for you.  My house has been on the market for 1 year and a half, I have dropped the price 60,000 so far and will probably drop again.  But I want to retire so I have to come out with enough money to pay the mortgage, pay off the credit cards and buy a new place in a new state, where the cost of living is not as high as NJ,  I still work to pay the mortgage, my husband is retired, with COPD.  So I have so much in storage, you know clutter free sells, most of my bear stuff is in storage, but I have enough around to keep going.  Glad things are going your way and good luck in the new house.

Good for you, Krista!  Our housing market definitely did not get hit like the U.S.  It was down a bit last summer, but  has bounced back to a sellers market in Ottawa and in some areas of Toronto.  We've had two houses on our street, sell very quickly. 

Pat, it must be incredibly difficult to be trying to sell your house now  Fingers crossed for you!

Hooray for selling your house! I kniow what you mean about the pets. When we showed ours the prospective buyers paid more attention to Maggie than the house. They would always ask if the house came with the dog.  Good luck with your move!

krista I know exactly what you are going through right now as we have been doing the same thing. The dogs and the cleaning and showings, it is crazy and exhausting! We have been waiting for the conditions on our house to be done. The buyers are taking it right to the last day and is stressful for me . We have another house already to move to on the 17 of this month so have to start packing but will do that when the sold sign is up.

Your Chihuahua puppy is soooooooooooooooo cute!!!!
