Hi Everyone, it's been a while, but the light at the end of the tunnel is near!

We have finally sold our house, the original offer we had on it fell through, but we accepted another right away and it went off without a hitch.

It has been a crazy few weeks, cleaning out 5 years worth of clutter to move to the new house. We are blessed in this house to have lots of storage, but the new house barely has any, so I have spent the last couple of weeks cleaning out storage closets, dressers, and garages. Donating what I can, I have come to the realization we are pack rats!!! Never again!!

I also found out that the niece of a TT member just lives down the road from me and she is also into making bears! I had her over and we went through my stash of furs and accessories that I no longer use, and sent her away with a wonderful haul so she can create to her hearts content! It felt great to help out a new bear maker, I remember those days and how quite a few of you helped me out and am happy to pay it forward....we also have plans once I am moved to get together and have a mini workshop! What a small world!!!

We have our lawyers appointment today to sign all of our paper work to purchase our new house, we move in on the 4th of August, I can't believe how quickly it is upon us. The new owners of our house don't take possession until the 29th of August so it gives us lots of time to get the critters over and settled and clean this house for them.

Anywhoo I jsut wanted to pop in and tell you all how much I miss you, and I can't wait to get settled in and get back to creating! I have been puttering a bit here and there, but not as much as I would like. The new house has a studio (nanny suite) and I am sure that I will find much inspiration there!!

missing you all, hugs,
Krista

bear_wub Congrats on selling your house.  My house has been on the market for 18 months, I wish it were sold.  I had a lot of clutter and had to rent a storage space to put a lot in, also threw away and gave away.  That is fortunate that you will now have a new neighbor that makes bears also.  How lucky for her that you were so generous.
That is a great feeling to be able to help one another.  Good luck in the new home.

Congrats on the move, I know what you mean about being a pack rat, but you don't notice until you start packing up to move!! LOL
Good for you on the bear supplies, I bet she was soooooooooooooo happy.
Hope you love your new home!

Krista,
A Nanny Suite! Sounds very fancy  bear_rolleyes  I've moved twice in the last two years and boy have I learned how to organize and not be a PACK Rat, too tough on my back and body! Congratulations! I can't believe you sold so FAST! I have a couple of friends who have had their house on the market for years!

Krista I know what you mean about moving. We are in the middle of it again. Will be so glad when we are settled in. Happy creating in your new home.

Thanks Everyone! In Canada it is a buyers market, prices have gone down, and interest rates were down for a bit as well, so things started selling....we ended up taking an offer less than we could have gotten if we would have waited longer. My husbands knees are getting really bad and we took what we could because we don't want him to have to do the stairs any longer than neccessary.

The new house is only about 5 minutes from where we are now. The studio is a two bedroom nanny suite that I will be converting over. It has a kitchen sink and counter, perfect for clean ups, a bathroom, and a big work room that over looks the rear yard so I can keep an eye on the dogs

Hugs,

Sounds great. We just moved from Londfon to St Thomas Ont. Found that the cite was too big for us. Were we are now is nice a quite and have a pool and a park like setting out the back. Hoping that swimming will help my pain. Also hoping to get my groove back for bear making.
