Here is my Gallery piece for the August 13th-15th TBAI show. My music choice is from the Threepenny Opera 1928. These two characters are members of Mack's gang of beggars and thieves but they have hearts of gold and are just trying to survive "hard times". (Of course the mouse has three miniature pennies in his top hat.) How do you like the leather cap? I made it myself. The play opened in 1928 Germany and it's modeled after what a street cat might wear at that time ;->

The hat is perfect. My cat would wear one just like it if she could!
The whole piece is stunning -- a wonderful homage to Weill's musical, and a beautiful work of art in itself. I get totally lost in the color and expression on the cat's face. He even has a sparkle in his eye:)
