I glue, because it's impossible to stitch thru leather of that thickness, that's round!  And couching the leather to the eye won't allow it to be placed where I want it.

i guess i was thinking of whipstitching (?) over the leather and around the eye..but gluing sounds easier! hmmm may get up the guts to try this one day! thanks!! deb
