I have one and have just decided I am going to end it. This my third year and I've been giving it less and less attention. I am so busy and have started dabbling in other crafts. There just isn't any time for it with a full time job and two kids. Typepad has changed their layout and I don't like it. It's not as user-friendly as it used to be. I wrote about ending my blog in my last post and nobody commented. That was enough right there to decided that nobody cares whether it exists or not. It costs me over $100 a year and I figured it's a waste of money.

But if you can give your blog adequate attention I think there is definitely a huge market out there. There are some gorgeous blogs that are drool worthy and I am sure are responsible for bringing in money for the crafters.

@nimbleknot  I'll be sad to see your blog go!!! It's just not a blogspot blog so I don't get to check it daily!!!! You should look into blogspot though (www.blogger.com) it's totally free... and your creations are too cute not to have a place to talk about them!!!!!

Also, I have a bear related blog (I talk about other crafts too... but it's main purpose is for bears)

I have a blog too, though it's not entirely devoted to bears at the moment.  I'm making my way back though!!  I've added you to my bear blog role.

Well, I've been wondering whether or not I should start one.  I don't make teddy bears, of course, but I do lots with my teddy bears... although I am not sure it would make interesting reading.  :)

Thomas, start a blog, and they will follow.  I think people would be interested in your bear adventures.  I'll add you to my links list when you get it going.

I'm just about to update mine and I also need to add some links so this is super handy!:)
Here's my blog (which I am going to definitely devote more time to- its surprising the number of people who say they read it)

A little question- what's the etiquette with adding others blog links to your blog? Are you meant to tell them? ask them?
   Bye for now, Karen

I just add people I like and think are interesting or helpful, or who I admire... they've already put themselves out there for everyone to see... if they didn't want people to look, they shouldn't have a public blog!

Besides, I always figure, very few people get upset when you direct other people to them by saying "Hey, I *really* like what this person is doing! Go check it out!"

I like to link swap, that way it is benificial for both parties, if a craft or bear person tells me they added my link, I am more than happy to add theirs.

Okay, gang . . . I just went and did it - got a blog now.  http://pasttimebears.blogspot.com There's no telling if I will keep it updated, but I just decided to "follow the crowd" and try it out.  I will add everybody in this thread and search out other threads with blog addies.  Thanks a bunch if you add mine to yours.
