I suppose I'd better translate what is written under the photo.
"Surprise for the passengers of the boat Svalbard sailing in Arctic sea when a polar bear climbed the hull to try to come inside a cabin (looks more like the kitchen to my view point) through a porthole."
How adorable, I think he wants some dinner...
This guy looks a little like my current Polar Bear but much hungrier! A guy shouldn't have to smell those people food smells when he's so hungry!
The Bears who live in this den know where the kitchen is!
It's not a big stretch of the imagination that a real bear would want to find himself some tasty vittles too!
Well now, I bet that was a fun surprise!!!
Polar bears certainly look wonderful as long as it is from a distance.
As one of the fiercest predators on the planet, I would be cleaning out my underwear if I ever came face to face with one!
WOW, that is incredible, I bet he smelt the bacon for breakfast

Beautiful, BUT, can you imagine the shock you'd have if he stuck his head through when you were standing there.
hugs, Jane.
Absolutely stunning beastie!
Bet his appearance thru the porthole caused quite a shock though...........and I can't imagine anyone would be in a hurry to rush out on deck and shoo him away.
thanks for sharing the piccie

The Bears think this picture needs a caption:
"I'll have a double order of hash browns, scattered, smothered, covered, topped, diced, and chunked. Hold the peppers!"
Oh Sophie, what a wonderful photo.
Must have been one hungry polar bear and looking for his dinner.
Hugs
Carolyn
As cute as he is I don't think I would rush over and pet him on the head!
