This is "Teddy".  He's been needle felted with Corriedale wool, has german glass eyes and mohair eyelashes.  He's statically posed.  This is another award winner from my state fair.  This one came 2nd.

I really like the refinement of your pieces. Some needle felting is kind of loose and fuzzy, and that has it's place, too. But your animals look so well-finished, and soooo cute

Thank you Becky!    A lot of people are surprised by how firm my critters are.  I think they are expecting that they'll be quite soft.  They all have a little "give" in them though.  Thank you again!

He is wonderful!  I like how you gave him eyelashes.    

When I needle felt, I like a firm finish too.  I haven't done a needle felted face in ages and finally started on another one - so I know how much work goes into getting a nice solid finish like this!  Oooo my arm aches!

hahaha!   I know what you mean about arm aches Melisa!  I've just started needle felting another animal after having a break for a few weeks and i've got a few aches on top of my aches. LOL!  Thank you!!
