This is "Fergus", a commissioned order for a collector who lives not far from me, he is one of my older designs that she fell in love with quite some time ago now, and finally I've been able to get my act together and make him for her.

He is a real cracker! You must be thrilled with him. I could almost believe he is alive!
I can see why your collector fell in love with this design!
I think my favorite thing about it is the angle of the head. Fergus isn't looking at the ground when he's on all fours, and he has an alert (but calm) expression when he's upright. (Those little ears get a big thumbs up, too.)

Thank you to everyone for your lovely comments on Fergus. He has a double jointed neck so he can be posed in lots of postions and now that it's been mentioned, he does have that wise , but peaceful look about him.
