This is 'Luna'; he was a special commission for a Pearl Wedding Anniversary. He is a bit of a departure from my other sculpted face bears in that I went for a lot more realism - and he is BIG, for me, anyway, as he stands at 20".
I am happy to say that his new mum is very pleased with him!
Oh wow... now THAT is an anniversary gift!!!
He looks fantastic! I love the shape of his muzzle, and his foot pads! Amazing!!!
He is magnificent, Christine!
I especially like the shape of his arms and paws. (Is that mohair, or some other fur?)

 Wow, that is a wonderful life like bear, what a great job you did, no wonder the new mum is happy. Fantastic job!
A beautiful bear, his new mum must love him.
Oh I do love his face! It might be almost worth finding someone to marry to get something like this on an anniversary
he is just wonderful
hugs sandra
Hi Guys,
I made him from Alpaca, which is great for making realistic bears.
To demonstrate how dramatically you can change the look of a bear by using the same pattern in a different way, here is a picture of 'Brodie'. I made him from Tissavel faux fur and he is made from the same pattern as Luna.
Hugs,
Christinex
Wonderful bears, Christine!

Both bears are absolutely wonderful. It always amazes me how different bears made from the same/similar pattern can be...one of the joys of bearmaking!

They are both gorgeous, I sooo love your bears
