I plan to make vintage style bears and animals, I plucked and "dirtied" this pink bear with fabric colors. He is wearing a vintage doll cardigan that was crocheted by my mother. He has matte glass eyes and he is about 9" tall. He has steel shot in the paws and tummy for weight.
I'm thinking he is finished - I sorta want to age him more, but maybe I will let him be. He has some completely bald spots and grey in his paws and head and ears..
I have made the head from 4 pieces. I fiddled with the head design quite a bit because I wanted a sort of peanut shape in the head...
He is adorable. Amazing for your first design. I agree let him be, at least for a while. If you really feel in a few weeks that he still needs something more than do it then.
Great work
