Toffee is my newest 9-inch “elephump!” I’m very pleased with how he turned out. He’s a sweet, little, cuddly, roly-poly guy. You can see him at http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?li … d=31554313 .
Warmly,
Cheryl

Cheryl, I love love love your bears, they are... they are... I don't know, but I love them and one day I'll have one from your bears, I promisse (by the way, did you know, your bears looks alike you)
Cheryl he has the most perfect trunk ever!! And those paw pads! Did you needle felt each dot? Your bears (and elephumps) are amazingly adorable! I have to agree that I think they look a bit like you too!
Ohhhhh, thank you so much for your lovely compliments everyone!   I'm so glad you like him. He was fun to make--I especially liked coloring the little dots on his feet.
This little guy was recently featured in an Intercal newsletter and I received so many requests for his pattern. But when I made Toffee I had created his pattern simply for my use--which means that I often tweak here and there before sewing but without noting any changes on the pattern. So, in January, I've decided to make sure my general elephump pattern "works" and to write up directions in order to make a pattern to sell on Etsy. Wish me luck!
Warmly,
Cheryl

Thank you so much, Katy! Working on a new elephump to fine tune my pattern is my next project. I'm hoping to have the pattern available in January on Etsy.
