Hi guys,
I've got a question, mainly from the UK peeps, but anyone else feel free to answer. What's the name of that really long feathery type of faux fur? And where do you guys get it from? (okay, that was 2 questions, so shoot me )
I've found the faux throw company, and honeysuckle furs on e-bay, and bought some fur from them, so I thought I'd branch out more, but all I could find was the brown kodiac fur on the faux throw site, and I notice people had white and grey fur in this texture too in their bears.
If it's a trade secret I'm sure I'll survive, or hone my google skills, but thanks just in case you can help
Katy
I am not sure where you would get feather fur in the UK. In the states, I get it from a supplier on the east coast. I know most of the fur comes from Europe so there should be a supplier there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but there are others who use this fur so hopefully one of them can answer you.
The only place I found in the Uk that has any is Swincraft on eBay -

They don't have any at the moment, but do regularly have it, but only in one colour I have the same problem, I watch eBay and snap up pieces when I can.
Having said that, go into the clothes stores at the moment, there are loads of amazing feather fur coats, gillets, pillow covers - i found a whole throw of the stuff in TK Maxx the other day, it was £60 - which for the amount of material was pretty good. I'm going to wait for the january sales and i'm going to buy a ton of it cheap just to destroy them for bears.... River Island have an awesome bright pink and black Gilet that i've got my eye on. I already bought a lovely M&S feather fur coat from last year on the 'bay for £18.
Hi Katy,
I know none of these are feather as such, but it's a fab site for faux furs......

Thanks guys. And Julia I was in TK Maxx eying up some of those cushions this afternoon  Like you I think I'll wait till the January sale, just don't go to the one at the Fort in Glasgow
I don't think i'll bother, as I live near Birmingham - I won't be fighting you for the bargins....
Hi Katy - try www.edinburghimports.com - I've seen feather plush there.
