Hi guys, sorry I looked in the library and did a search, but there didn't seem to be a topic in the library and the search brought back loads of things that didn't seem to have anything to do with small business insurance! (did read some interesting old threads though) Anyway, can those of you in the UK suggest any good small business insurers that they use? I had read about Michael James & Associates in an old Teddy Bear Scene mag from a few years ago, but their website is apparently 'under construction' following the link from the article, and googling it is bringing up nothing online, just an address and phone no (not a lot of use to me tonight). I managed to get a quote from the Direct Line site, and one from Cornhill (twice the Direct line price) but the other 2 I've tried - Blyth Insurance and MoreThanBusiness didn't have cover for craft trades. Any other ideas?
Thanks for all your help

Katy I have mine with Ian Wallace for many years now and his rates are really good, I pay approx £7 per month.

Thanks Carol, that's about what Direct Line quoted, I'll check them out
Okay, I checked them out and they were extortionately expensive for the same cover Direct Line was quoting, and wasn't geared to what I need unfortunately. I need to insure things such as stock and equipment in my home, I'm not bothered about selling something at an event at the moment, as my intention is to sell through the internet. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Anyone else?
