I've waited a long time to attempt this kitten. I'm not used to working so small (I have a new found admiration for miniature artists!). The closed eyes were very tricky. I wanted them to look realistic and I found the only way to accomplish this was to have the eyes set in eye sockets behind the closed lids. Also I use separate pieces for the tiny cheeks and chin and it was maddening trying to stitch these all together and form the mouth! But I'm happy with Lalla. Now I have to see if I can create more than one of these guys

Lalla is amazing like all of your other work
Great minds think alike Karen! I am currently working on twins, approximatley 10 day old kittens! I love your newborn, she is so cute! When I created Zoe last year, my little newborn I remember how tedious all the little newborn parts were. They are a pain, but well worth it!
