Hello everyone,
It's been a long while since I could post. It's great to see all the wonderful new creations. I just posted this little rat on eBay on Sunday. His auction will end this Sunday at 6:45 pm PST. He's 6 1/2 inches tall and was needle felted from an assortment of wools. He has Apoxy Sculpt hands and feet. His costume was all handsewn by me, even his tri-corner hat. He has a reserve price of $165.00 and a Buy It Now of $295.00 I hope you like him :rose:

He is adorable! We have 2 rats rescued from the shelter and your little rat captures the true personality of these amazing littlest of God's creatures. I used to be so afraid and disgusted at the thought of rats but they truly are precious little animals! They are clever and clean and nothing like what you hear about them! Your little rat is so dapper, just like our "pets"!

Janice, That's fantastic that you adopted them! My son used have a very sweet dumbo eared rat named Fauna. She was the sweetest little rat ever. It took me a long time before I would let him have one. I used volunteer at a bird rescue and would feed rats to the hawks and owls. I couldn't see owning one and still be able to feed them to the hawks. So my son had to wait until I quit the center. Rats really do make great pets and they have such wonderful personalities.
OH! So wonderful! HE looks like a whole story while just standing there 
You really want to get to know him better. Congratulations on a wonderful character!

I see now how you were able to capture the personality of a rat! I understand you not being able to have one as a pet at the same time you are feeding others to the hawks, too!

artbyrjandreaeThanks, Karen! I kind of had a little story in my head about him while I was creating him. I thought he would think of himself as the king of the seas. and he was always ready for an adventure like pirating away some of the ship's golden treasure, the captain's cheese.
