I finished Beatrix yesterday - as usual I'm in a race against time to prepare for one of the most important London shows of the year and am fast running out of time! I'm really pleased with this little lady though (not really little at 19"!) ... I hope you like her too!
Beatrix will be making her debut at the show on February 28th, held in Kensington Town Hall, London SW8.
Ooooh , she's gorgeous Paula - looks ever so cuddlesome !

Ooh, can't wait to meet her, if she's still at your stall by the time I get there, I imagine you get mobbed pretty quickly!
Awwwwww Paula, soooo lovely, that fur is delicious too!! Loving all your bears for Hugglets, have a super show....xx
Thanks everyone! Delighted you like this bear as I have a bit of a soft spot for her myself too!
Beatrix is adorable, Paula, such a lovely type of fur and what a sweet expression.

I love the fur you have used creating Beatrix. Her collar adds such a nice touch, perfect to go with her name. To me the name Beatrix says sweet and pretty with a touch of old fashioned charm. She is all that.
What a perfect bear Paula, and she looks every inch "a lady". Best of luck at Hugglets.
She's beautiful Paula I'm sure she'll disappear very quickly at the show!
Beatrix is gorgeous! I love the mohair too
Thank you all very much! Less than two weeks until show day - I think the remaining bear making days will fly by!
Lovely old fashioned girl with an old fashioned name! Sigh! I wish I were going to Hugglets!
She is SOOOOO lovely!!
Aw, thanks you two!

Hi Paula, just thought I'd let you know that Beatrix is now safe and sound in her new home. She travelled back in the passenger seat of my car, safely strapped in (much to the amusement of several white van men who caught her reading the A-Z as we went through London, but she waved regally at them ). She was a little concerned when we crossed the border, in case someone was going to come and demand a passport from her, but I explained that it was perfectly okay. She did enjoy watching the changing scenery as we headed further north, although she wasn't particularly amused by the white stuff we kept passing on the hills, and the 10 degree temperature drop (I did point out she had a big furry coat though!) She's had a bit of a nose about the flat, and decided that for now she's going to settle in on my beanbag, although we're going to have to negotiate on that later in the week, as that's where I sit to sew!
It was great to meet you, and I'm so happy I was able to adopt Beatrix, she gives such wonderful cuddles
How lovely to hear that Beatrix is now safely 'north of the border'!
It was lovely to meet you and your parents and of course Spike, on Sunday! Thank you so much for adopting Beatrix, I hope you will enjoy many years together.
