Emma-New-3-4-10-010.jpgI have this fur that I had in a box for I don't remember how many years. bear_rolleyes   It is an old coat I got from a thrift shop.  I took the coat apart and the leather backing is in great shape.   I cut out a bear and sewed it up but this will be the last time I can work with this as my hands can't take it anymore.

Anyway, does anyone know what kind of fur it is?????  It is very soft and curly.  If anyone wants the rest of this coat you can have it.  It is a big coat and if you will pay shipping, I will send it to you.  Just pm me.  I also have some mink from an old coat too.  Not sure how good the leather on this is as I haven't had it out in a while.

thanks for your help.

I do believe this is curly lamb,  very popular in the 1940's

Thanks Joann.  I thought it might be lamb but I didn't know so I thought I would ask the experts here on TT.

We call it Persian lamb here, not sure why but it is lamb. Come's in shades of grey, black, and we have had one light beige coloured.
