Melisa I just wanted to tell you how amazingly talented you are!!  I had always wanted to try creating teddy bears in the past, but never have.  I saw one of your beautiful critters on Ebay and read what you wrote in your 'about me' section and found this site through you..so I joined a few days ago.  THANK YOU!  I went supply shopping this weekend and now I'm working on my very first bear. 

I'm curious as to how many hours you put into each of your incredible works of art?  They're so intricate!!  You are simply phenomenal in your artistry!!  :clap:

Vicki... Thank you for the wonderful compliments!  I am so glad to have helped motivated you to start creating!  This is a fantastic art form with so much room for growth.  I'm looking forward to seeing your first bear.    It's really hard for me to say how much time I put into a creation as they vary so much and with three children I do get interrupted - I don't keep very good track of the hours.  This little koala took me around a week and a half to create and it was the only piece I worked on in that time.  There are many, many hours spent on the actual creating, and many hours spent planning the design and figuring out how to make something work better than before - like the individually movable fingers with claws.   Have fun with your first bear!
