Hi Everyone,
I know some of you are fans of Charlie Bears and I just wanted to draw your attention to the magnificent homepage they made on their website.
Their previous website was very unimaginative, but this new one is just "Wow".
Slide you mouse horizontally over the picture and you will gradually see the landscape change. I don't know how they did it , but it looks fabulous.

Peter & the bears
It is beautiful and 3 dimensional, very cool. It took so darn long to load though, and I have high speed internet. That may be a problem for them I think.

Charlie Bears' website is delightful! I have dial-up and it took awhile to load, but the journey was worth the reward. Plum Cottage Bears is getting a new website with the help of the Small Business Development Center. I will point out Charlie Bears' website to the lady who is helping me with the website design. Thanks for pointing out Charlie Bears' website, Peter!
If you have an iPad or an iPhone, you will not be able to see that site.
The entire website is based on Flash. iPads and iPhones will not access websites which use Flash.
In terms of graphic design, it is a very nice website. But, in terms of technical design, the site leaves a lot to be desired.
They should give the graphics designers a raise and fire the programmers.
Glad you found it Peter - yes it takes awhile to load, but it is worth it! Did you decide on a membership bear?

You are so right here. I am careful not to use flash on my website.
People sometimes use the excuse, "Well only 5% of the people on the web use iPhones or iPads."
I don't know about you but I know a lot of people who would climb Mount Everest to get a 5% increase in their customer base. All you have to do to get it is NOT use Flash.
It's a no-brainer!
