Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my newest design.  He seems to have a sort of double chin effect after I trim the cheeks.  Is there anyway to avoid this?  I'm not sure if I should be trimming back further, or if there is something I could do to my design to eliminate this.  Thanks everyone, here's a photo.Double_chin_1_resize.jpg

I'm not an expert, but I avoid this problem by trimming back all the way underneath the chin. Good luck.

bear_wub I don't see a double chin, what I see is the beginning of the neck where he will be attached to the body.  He looks fabulous to me.  Of course I am not an expert, but I like it.

I think when it's attached to the body it won't be noticeable, he's a very cute head anyway!

I agree with several of the above.  When you put his head on his body, it won't look like two chins...
Very very cute design bear_wub

I agree with everyone else.... it looks great..... attach it to the body and get it stuffed and I bet the double chin you see will disappear. If it doesn't THEN do more trimming!

What size eyes did you end up using? I hope one of the pairs I sent you worked. His eyes look great here!

Thanks everyone for your help and your generous compliments on the head  bear_grin .  Daphne, the 12mm eyes were the ones that I chose, thanks so much for sending them along!  I couldn't believe how fast the stuffing and eyes arrived, they were on my doorstep the next day!  Here's crossing my fingers that the double chin will be gone when the body is attached.

Thanks again

I agree with Daphane. Attach the head and stuff the bear. I would stuff the whole bear though put him on a shelf somewhere you can see him and see what you think in a day or two before trimming any more. Once it's cut you can't put it back so make sure he needs it first.

I think he's sweet.
