Hi there!
firstly, I want you to know that my English is not very good. So I'm really sorry for any misunderstanding. ( )
I've got a question about how to make a BIG bear. That means a bear measures around 30-40 inches.
Especially - how much will be need of a fabric? And what about stuffing, pattern ? It is possible to do?
Does anyone have an experience in that? Anything what is necessary to know.
I'll be deliriously happy if you give me some advice with this.
Thaaaaaaaaaank you, with love
Z.
Hello,
Are you making your own pattern or purchasing one? If you make your own pattern I would guess you need at leats a yard of fabric. One of the biggest bears I currently make is 23" and he uses 1/2 of a yard. Because of the size of the pieces, though I must have a full yard of fabric. I can cut two of the design from a one yard piece, but if I only purchase half a yard, I cannot fit all the pieces of one on it.
If you purchase a pattern, the instructions will tell you how much fur to use. Stuffing big bears is a good arm workout!
