I'm really trying to make the most of the time I have left before school starts again next week. I have been playing around and come up with a more teddyish style bear. He is made from Schulte golden mohair and cream alpaca. He is a large fellow with pulled toes in cream cashmere, double-neck joints etc. I dare say you can see why I called him Socks.

My heart has melted into a puddle.
That combination of fur was a brilliant choice! And the adoring-puppy gaze...priceless!

He is adorable!
Many, many thanks for your kind comments Becky and Jane. He was a bit of an experiment. I really enjoyed using more than one colour of alpaca and mohair, so it is an experiment I will probably repeat sometime. Regarding puppy eyes, I have two Maltese and a Westie, so I see those puppy eyes fairly frequently! Picture of Monty attached!

Monty is adorable and so is your bear, Sue!
Oh my, you have been a busy bee, Sue !
It's so difficult to find new words to describe your bear cub. I have used "gorgeous", "adorable", "wonderful", "magnificent"
I don't think I have said "exquisite" !
Such a shame you have to go back to school next week ... Hopefully you will soon be able to make a full time career with your bear making.
