DSCN6402--2.JPGDSCN6388--2.JPGHi, I also did the boot camp class at Ebearz but had to finish a swap bear first so I was abit behind the others.  My bear is called Fleur.  She is made from a lovely pale pink mohair and sassy fabric for pawpads.  She is my first traditional style bear and I really enjoyed making her.  Can't wait for the advanced course now.  Hope you like her.

She does have an adorable expression, Ali, really lovely !  bear_wub

I was just wondering  : in the first photo she looks very pink, but in the second photo she looks almost white.
Which colour is closest to the reality ?

Hugs,

Very pretty!  bear_flower  I imagine the Sassy fabric makes lovely, soft paw pads.

Thank you for such lovely words and encouragement  bear_flower

Peter I would say probably the first picture, but it is slightly paler.  I made her joints really wobbly too and she has plastic beads in her tummy - can see this one really liking the chocolate, she was a hungry girl! bear_grin

Becky I know its an expensive material to use just for pawpads but it is my favourite, can't beat the touchability of it (oooh love that word  bear_grin ).   I didn't get on very well with suede and fell in love with Sassy quite quickly, love to play with cashmere too!

Thank you all again

Ali, I can see why you choose the Sassy fabric for the paw pads, I used it for the Trapunto Toes on my Tuffi and loved to work with it as well  bear_happy

Ah, she's so pretty.

As you know I bought some of that pink (!) - its lovely.  I would say its inbetween those two colours.

Anyway, well done.
