This little guy was made as a special request by my daughter to make a bear for her friend. His namesake is serving in the Army and stationed in Afghanistan. She's hoping this little guy will help keep him safe.

He's wonderful and I'm sure he will be treasured by his namesake. I've had a few friends do tours of duty out there and it's a rough place to be, so knowing friends and family are thinking of them is a big help to them.
What a wonderful thought. Those very special people need all the love and support they can get. Lovely to think that "bear power" can help in a very special way.
